The story so far
At eight years old, Everett was struck by a car traveling 53 miles per hour. He was pronounced dead for three minutes, spent two months in a coma, and woke up paralyzed on the left side of his body. He was never expected to live an ordinary life again.
He fought his way back through rehabilitation, then through eighteen years of baseball. Years later, when that chapter closed, a different road opened. Everett taught himself to sing, bought a guitar, and started paying his dues the old-fashioned way: one room, one town, and one ten-minute chance at a time.
“I've spent my whole life surviving what should've stopped me. Now I'm turning every chance I'm given into a life worth remembering.”

Everett walked into new cities with nothing but a guitar and a question: “Can I play for ten minutes?” Most nights, ten minutes became a few hours. No shortcuts. No audience borrowed from an algorithm. Just songs, handshakes, and a name passed from one person to the next.
What carries him
His faith in Jesus is what pulls him through every season, grounded in grace and saved by mercy.
The biggest goal is not a stage. It is becoming a great husband and father, because no success can make up for failure at home.
Every wrong turn, hard season, and uncertain step has a purpose. Keep the faith, then keep moving.
